The museum is committed to preserving the cultural heritage of the Tularosa Basin through archival stewardship and educational outreach. We ensure that every historical artifact tells its story accurately to inspire an understanding of our shared regional past. We provide the strategic oversight needed to sustain the museum's legacy for future.

Our principles center on education, ethical and transparent operations, stewardship of heritage, public trust and encompassing the core functions of preserving, collecting, researching, and exhibiting tangible, intangible, and irriplaceable heritage for our community's benefit.

Monetary Donation

Your donation helps us invest in preservation of our community's irreplaceable history for future generations. Every donation ensures these cherished stories continue to be told.

The Tularosa Basin Historical Society is a volunteer-based organization. We are a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization. We operate solely on entry fee, gift shop sales, membership dues and donations from individuals like you. 


Donations can be made in person during museum hours or by mail  to TBHS,  1004 N White Sands Blvd, Alamogordo, NM 88310

Artifact Donation

Your artifact donation helps preserve the tangible pieces of our community’s story. Photographs, documents, heirlooms, and everyday objects all play a role in connecting future generations to the people and events that shaped the Tularosa Basin.
